The weekend after my latest blogpost I was in bed with a fever and a sore throat, not being able to do anythig. I was watching Grace and Frankie on netflix, thinking about what an old lady I really am. I got better in time for us to leave for the Phi Phi islands last weekend, which was great! Phi Phi Don was really beautiful, expensive and filled with tourists. I would go back because of the beautiful beaches and nice snorkeling, but that's about it. We stayed at a place called 'Apache beach house' that was right on the beach. The hostel was really nice except for the loud music until 2am, we knew about it before going so I have no right to complain and I fell asleep as quickly as usual so I was fine.
DAY 21 - Day 1 Phi Phi
We took a taxi at 5.30 am from Amarin Mansion, where all my friends are staying, to the airport and got to Phi Phi islands around 1pm. The flight only takes an hour, but the ferry to the islands from Krabi takes about two hours. When we got to Phi Phi we just went straight to our hostel and chilled by the beach right next to it. At night we enjoyed the sunset, and the beautiful scenary before having dinner at a beachside restaurant. We got to see a fireshow that was pretty good, except that they kept dropping the stick of fire and we were all scared it was gonna land on us.
