During the weekends in Bangkok there is a huge market called 'Chatuchak' - The worlds biggest market. Ari and I walked around there the weekend before I got sick and I found two skirts and sipped on my coconut. The market is divided into sections to make it easier to find your way around, but it was not easy anyway. We ate some good food, strolled around the streets and had some coconut ice cream. Taking the BTS to the market is really easy beacuse it stops right outside, but getting to the BTS from where we live is a bit far, but worth it. Chatuchak market has anything you can think of, and asking for a lower price usually works for everyting, even though it's cheap already. Sometimes I feel kinda dumb for asking for a lower price when the product is pretty cheap already but just like if you would live anywhere else, you adapt to the costs here too.
